Karen Alicia Carlino passed away July 4, 2026, at home surrounded by her family after a battle with cancer. She was born in Baton Rouge on January 19, 1966. She is survived by her two brothers, Randall James Carlino and Jeff Samuel Carlino; sister, Christine Elaine Carlino; sister-in-law, Laurie Carlino-Doughty, and her husband, Kenny; three nieces, Dr. Louren Theresa Carlino, Jennifer Christine Landry, and Lindsay Ann Carlino; nephew, Jason Anthony Carlino; and great-nephews, Jacob Michael Landry, Sawyer Anthony Carlino, and Crew Vincent Carlino. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Anthony Carlino, Sr. and Lois Lovett Carlino; and a brother Leo Anthony Carlino, Jr.
Karen was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, and aunt. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy, and a member of the Catholic High Band. She also attended LSU, where she performed with the Golden Band from Tigerland.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 445 Marquette Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 1:00pm until the Mass of Christian burial at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
