"Katherine Louise Haggard Curry passed on October 24, 2016. She was the widow of James K. Curry. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Haggard and Virginia Pierce Haggard, and sister, Johnnie Trout. She is survived by her son, James M. Curry, daughter, Mira A. Curry, and four grandchildren, Kyle, Daniel, Karen, and Christian. She was a native of Philadelphia, MS and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She received a BS from Southern Miss with a lifelong teaching certificate. She never met a stranger or had a loss of words. Visitation will be Friday, October 28, 2016 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home Downtown from 6 to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 11 a.m. until funeral service at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
