A native and resident of Baton Rouge passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 at her residence at the age 65. She was a retired registered nurse from Audubon Home Health. She is survived by two children, Judson Leonard and wife Elizabeth, and Katie Leonard Spann and husband Will, mother, Jessie Ann Ellender Henchy, two brothers, Frank and John Henchy, two sisters, Nancy Savoy and Gaye Bourgeois, grandchildren, Molly, Jonah, Elijah, John Paul and Maria Leonard and Dylan, Ella, Lillian Spann. Preceded in death by her father, Francis P. Henchy. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Visiting continues at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Avenue, Friday, May 17, 2013 after 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
