Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Kathy was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy, Saint Joseph’s Academy and Louisiana State University where she was a Golden Girl. Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her husband Max Kent Broha, her three children, Jason (Hance), Ashley, Matthew (Amy), and three grandchildren Shepherd, Lizette and Mark Kent and her siblings Karen (Mike) Darnall, Phillip (Linda) Thomas, Patricia Thomas, John (Beverly) Thomas and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by Karam John & Ruth Thomas, Leo & Jeanne Broha, Lee & Robin Broha and Reynolds Bromley.
Kathy lived her life guided by her deep Catholic faith. She took pride in her time running Ruth’s Hummus with her sisters and other family members. She also cherished volunteering at the Cypress Springs Mercedarian Prayer Center and the Shepherd Staff Gift Shop.
We are appreciative of everyone who offered prayer and support over the years and helped Kathy through her life’s journey.
