
A former employee of Bruno's in Prairieville and a native of Baton Rouge, she died at 2:10 a.m.Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, at Our Lady of theLakeRegionalMedicalCenter. She was 50 and a resident of Prairieville. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jim Gross. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Leonard E. Mathews, Prairieville; father, Kelly Santangelo, Baton Rouge; two daughters and a son-in-law, Angela and Russell Parker, and Kelly Ayo, all of Prairieville; son, Thomas Mathews, Prairieville; brother, Mickey Santangelo, Shady Hook, Miss.; three grandchildren, Kamie and Kaylee Parker and Emma Ayo; father-in-law, Thomas E. Mathews, French Settlement; two sisters-in-law, Brenda and Cindy Santangelo; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Goings Santangelo; brother, Bear Santangelo; and mother-in-law, Bessie P. Mathews. She was a member ofPark ForestBaptistChurch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge.
