It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kymber-Nichole Nezat on June 27, 2023, at the age of 28. Kymber filled each person she touched with love, laughter, joy, and happiness. She made such an impression on all our lives. She will be forever missed.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in Baton Rouge. Visitation will resume at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2023. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. and burial will be at Greenoaks Cemetery thereafter.
Kymber was very passionate about loving her family, her husband who was the love of her life, friends, sisters and brothers. She was a lover of animals from the age of 9, and it only grew with age/time. She loved her job with Acadian. She wanted to help everyone. She was selfless, determined to put her best foot forward no matter the task at hand.
She wore a smile that lit up a room. She was very driven to give her all everytime. She never met a stranger. Kymber was one of the sweetest, most genuine souls you would ever meet. She would have done anything to put a smile on a face or fill the air with laughter. She was a peacemaker and a shoulder to cry on for many. She loved life to the fullest.
She is survived by her husband of 2 years, Brennan Nezat; her parents, Jason and Angela Clapper of Baton Rouge; her biological father, James Larry Carter, Jr. of Baton Rouge; her sisters, Jayde and Nora; her maternal grandparents, Glenn and Debbie Cherry of Baton Rouge, and her uncle, Kevin (wife Devin, cousin Liam) of Ruston, Louisiana. She will also be missed by her in-laws, David and Angela Nezat of Prairieville, and her husband’s grandmothers, Lynn Marks and Linda Bourgeois of Opelousas, and her extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, June Lewis, her great-grandfather, Henry Cherry; and her husband’s grandfather, Lennie Marks.
