Larry E. Bay, a native of Oklahoma and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the age of 66. He was a Graduate from GA Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend who will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Herrick and husband Drake; son, Eric Bay and wife Rebecca; granddaughter, Perry Margaret Bay; dear friend and mother of his children, Janet Bay; stepdaughter, Jamie Bozeman and her son Jacob; and his father Elba Bay. Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Zula Mae Bay. A celebration of Larry’s Life will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 6pm until 9pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home’s Reception Center, 9595 Florida Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
