"Lawrence "Larry" Hagler Smith passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the age of 75. Larry was a retired Attorney at Law who was a resident and native of Baton Rouge. He is survived by his wife; Frances LaCroix Smith, sons; O.C. Smith III and wife, Rebeccah Fusier Smith and Grant L. Smith, grandchildren; O.C. Smith IV and Kate Smith, brother; Randy Smith and wife Sharon. He was preceded in death by his parents; O.C. Smith, Jr. and Catherine Jemison Smith, sister; Sherri Smith and brother- in "“law; Judge Frank Saia. Visitation will be Friday, July 20, 2018 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East 11000 Florida Blvd. starting at 10:00 am until memorial services at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Larry was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School Class of `60' a Jurist Doctorate from Southern University Law School, a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and practiced law for 38 years. He enjoyed reading, LSU Baseball, cooking, but most of all talking to his friends.
