Lawrence Valentine

Lawrence Valentine, a loving husband, father, son, Paw Paw to all, who loved life and loved his family most of all, went to be with His Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the age of 65 surrounded by his loving family. Lawrence and his father owned Valentine Builders for 34 years. His family, carpentry, gardening, and his dog Lucky were his passions in life. Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jackie Valentine; children, Lance Valentine and his wife, Kathy, Jodi McCleary and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Brent, Blaine, Gracie, Mary Kathryn, Matthew, Tyler, Karli and her husband, Rusty, Keifer, and Noah; mother, Laverne Valentine; mother-in-law, Maggie McCrary; siblings, Douglas Valentine and his wife, Jackie, Diane Baker and her husband, Bo, Carolyn Haynes and her husband, Charles; sister-in-laws, Paula Meadors and her husband, Doug, and Terri Myshrall and her husband, Dave; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Huey Valentine; and father-in-law, Paul McCrary. Visitation will be held at Live Oak United Methodist Church in Watson on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 9 a.m. until Funeral Service at 12 p.m. Pallbearers will be Brent Valentine, Blaine Valentine, Brandon Scully, Bradley Valentine, Keifer Rushing, Rusty Stevens, Kade McKee, and Jordan Caruso. Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew McCleary and Tyler Valentine. Interment will follow on the grounds of Live Oak United Methodist Cemetery.
