Larry Yoakum was born on May 20, 1940 and passed away on June 25, 2018. Larry grew up in Grand Rapids, MN, and was a loving son for his whole life to his parents, and a great friend to all he knew. Larry graduated from Dunwoody and moved to Minnetonka. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, and was a proud member of the Freemasons. In 2001, Larry retired to Baton Rouge, LA, where he embarked on new adventures with more new and great friends. Larry is survived by his Goddaughter, Britt Weber (Hogan), and many, many friends. What Larry lacked in physical size he more than made up for in personality. He will be missed. Greenoaks Funeral Home (Baton Rouge, LA) is handling arrangements.
