
Lea K. Johnson, Jr., 53, a resident and native of Baton Rouge, died Wednesday, August 26 at his home. He was an avid gardener and landscaper and was devoted to the care of his beloved cats. He also enjoyed spending time with his great-nephews, Aiden and Caleb Robin. He attended Robert E. Lee High School and LSU and was a member of First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his mother, Mary (Bebe) Johnson Sill, of Baton Rouge, a sister, Barbara Johnson Ross and her husband, Richard of Biloxi, Mississippi, a sister, Libby Johnson Crespo of Baton Rouge, a niece, Alexa Montgomery Krnjaic and her husband, Mark of San Francisco, a nephew, Stephen Hans Montgomery and his wife, Kim, of Chicago and numerous great-nieces and -nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Lea K. Johnson, Sr., his niece, Tara Taylor Robin, and his brother-in-law, Michael Crespo. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St. on Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 10:00 Am - 11:00 AM followed by a private graveside service conducted by Rev. Brady Whitton of First United Methodist Church.
