

Lee Ramsey passed away, Friday, February 12th at Baton Rouge General Hospital at the age of 94. She was born February 17, 1921 in Camden, New Jersey and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. She was a flight attendant for American Airlines and later worked in partnership with her husband for Taylor Publishing Company and L G Balfour Company. She was a loving mother and exemplified that love by always being present and volunteering in all of her daughter's activities as well as being involved in community organizations. She was a long time resident of El Paso, Texas and had lived in Baton Rouge for the past 15 years. Visitation will be Thursday, February 18 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Pope Hall at 10AM followed by funeral services at 11AM. Interment will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso. She is survived by her daughters Sandy Powers and husband Tom, Jane Thompson and her husband Jim, grandchildren and spouses, Brandon and Kristin Powers, Julie and Brent Walker, Justin and Bethany Powers, Nancy and Ricky Jones, Jack and Anne Thompson, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Sumner "Red" Ramsey and parents Joe and Theresa Corsiglia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
