Lena Loraine White Jarreau

"Lena "Loraine" White Jarreau passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the age of 79. A native of Rayville, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She was a member of Florida Blvd. Baptist Church and Patchwork Pelicans Quilting. Survived by children Allan DuPont (wife Patricia) of Denham Springs, LA,  Jennifer Poole (husband Robert "Bob") of Zachary, LA,  Mark DuPont of Circle Pines, MN,  Arlis DuPont (wife Pam) of Denham Springs, LA, step-sons Eugene Jarreau (wife Bridgett) of Denham Springs, LA and James Jarreau (wife Susan) of Stephens City, VA, siblings Oscar White, Jr.,  David White,  Ethel White, Archie White, Sr.,  Mary Theriot,  Alice Adams, Doug White, grandchildren Alyssa Doyle, Amber Rhee, Allan DuPont, II, Jessica Fleming, Robert Poole, IV, Michael Poole, Cody DuPont, Haley DuPont, Joshua Jarreau, Jennifer Jarreau, Michael Jarreau, Jacob Jarreau. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Percy Joseph "P.J" Jarreau, parents Oscar Pernal White, Sr. and Alice Gertrude McAdams White, sister Sharon White, brothers Larry White, Jimmy White, and granddaughter Ashley Katherine DuPont. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the visitation at Rabenhorst East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 5PM to 8PM and resuming on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Florida Blvd Baptist Church, 10915 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA from 10AM until 12PM with a funeral service at 12PM officiated by Minister Delmar Bennett. Interment to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Robert Poole, IV, Michael Poole, Allan DuPont, II, Kevin Fleming, Gene Rhee, Michael Doyle. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody DuPont, Joshua Jarreau, Jacob Jarreau, and Michael Jarreau. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Zachary Manor and Life Source Hospice for their loving care.
