Born in Baton Rouge, LA and a true leader of her family, Leslie was a retired lab technician and emergency medical team leader from the Exxon Mobil Baton Rouge plant. Being a proud emergency and industrial medical specialist, she held a License Practical Nurse certification over 40 years as well as being a certifying instructor and examiner for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. She retired to Anderson Country, TN to spend the rest of her days in the mountains of East Tennessee.
Preceded in death by her father, Leslie "JY" Sanders, her mother, Myrtle Avara LeBlanc, her sister, Betty Watts, all of Louisiana.
She leaves three children, Mike James, Tom Allsup (wife Susan), and Jennifer Shishko, three grandsons, Christopher, Logan, and Joshua Allsup, and two granddaughters, Katie Shishko Sellers (husband Joey) and Emily Shishko, nephews Jay, Billy, Russell and Richard, great nephew Jonathan, and great nieces Samantha, Sarah, Victoria, and Trisha.
