Lili M. Gomez

Ms. Lili M. Gomez, a resident of Central, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 68 years old. Ms. Lili was born on September 8, 1957, in Baton Rouge to parents, Herbert and Helen Gomez. She graduated from Central High School in 1975 and was a parishioner of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

She will be remembered for her love of treasure hunting and all things Disney. Also, for how much she enjoyed spending time with her grandson, family and friends.

She is survived by her children and their families; son, Jonathan (Julia and Owen) and soon to be son Henry; daughter Morgan (Ruffin) and son, Zeke; siblings, Herb and Sherry Gomez, Gay and Randall Wilson, Debby Gomez, David Gomez Sr. and Jeff and Kim Gomez; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death are her parents, Herbert and Helen Gomez Sr., brother, Robert W. (Bobby) Gomez and sister, Brenda G. McGovern.

Visitation will take place at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA., on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 12:00pm until funeral service time of 2:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be, Jonathan Menck, Ruffin Moreland, Jared Seguin, Jackson Seguin, Chad McGovern and Scott McGovern.
