

Lillian M. Felix Moore (affectionately known as "Mrs. Chancellor"), age 97, resident of Baton Rouge, LA and a native of New Orleans, LA, transitioned from labor to rest on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at her home. She was a retired homemaker for her husband and children. Service will be held at Neely United Methodist Church, 1755 Thomas H. Delpit Drive, in Baton Rouge, LA, at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. "“ 9:45 a.m., Pastor Arnold V. Brown, Sr. officiating. Lillian is survived by her three children: Joyce M. Roberts, Houston, TX; Mary Louise M. Crayton-Spencer, Baton Rouge, LA; and Larry Moore (wife Jennifer), Houston, TX; eight grandchildren, George L. Moore (wife Sandra), Shenandoah, VA ; Patress Moore, Woodridge (husband Adrian), VA; Sheila C. Johnson (husband Ronell), Metairie, LA; Sharone Moore, Greenbelt, MD; Pricilla Moore, Alexandria, LA; Sharron A. Crayton, Rosharon, TX; Larry M. and Timmy Moore, Houston, TX; nine great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, god-child, Sharon "Cookie" Smith, a host of other loving relatives, friends, and devoted healthcare providers. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Moore, Jr.; son, George Moore, III; parents, Henry and Mary Felix; granddaughters, Crystal M. Nelson and Melissa A. Moore.
