

"Lillie Mae Domma Mclean was born January 18, 1927 and passed away November 26, 2016 at the age of 89. She was a resident and native of Baton Rouge where she attended Dufrocq Elementary School and was a 1945 graduate of Baton Rouge High where she was a member of the Sodality Organization at St. Agnes Catholic Church. She completed studies at Baton Rouge Business College then went to work as a typist clerk with Louisiana State Department of Labor from 1946-1950. She was a former resident of Evergreen, Alabama from 1950-1956. She served East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court as Commissioner in Charge in 1979. Lillie was an award winning ceramics exhibitor and certified china painting instructor. She was President of the local Dobbe Dabbers Ceramic Club and Baton Rouge Homemakers' Club. She was Neighborhood Chairman and troop leader in the Audubon Council of the Girl Scouts sponsored by St. Gerard Majella Parish Church, where she served as President of the Ladies' Altar Rosary Society. She is survived by her children Marcia Surratt (John), Joan Merrill (Ed), Louise Bodenheimer (Donald), James Richard ""Rick""Jr. (Kathy), Greg (Laurie), Patrick (Peggy) and Michael (Kate), ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a step-grandson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband; James Richard McLean Sr., parents; Charles Vincent and Marie Cassano Domma, siblings Nicholas Charles Domma, Pearl Antoinette Domma, Pearl Annette Domma, Francis ""Frank"" Edward Domma, Mary Margaret Domma Landry, Vincent Anthony Domma and a grandson; Aaron Wilson McNabb. Visitation will be Friday, December 2, 2016 at St. Aloysius Church, 2025 Stuart Avenue in Baton Rouge starting at 10:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am with interment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be; Nathan McLean, Brennan McLean, Ben McLean, Cade McLean, Suemas McLean and Edwin Merrill.
