Linda Marie Dobson Dixon died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at her home in Baton Rouge at age 58 due to ovarian cancer. Linda was a native of Baltimore, self-employed in the insurance industry and a paralegal. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 2 p.m. until the memorial service in the chapel at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. James Sawyer. The family requested cremation. Survived by her mother, Marie M. Dobson; and three daughters, Heather M. Fox, April D. Fox and Melissa J. Fox. Linda was preceded in death by her father, William V. Dobson. She was a member of Sherwood Presbyterian Church and enjoyed traveling and gardening.
