Cookie, as she was known to all she loved, was born in Biloxi, MS. Her parents later moved back to Baton Rouge where she lived the rest of her life. Cookie was a proud graduate of the Redemptorist Class of 1961. She worked as a clerk, for 50+ years, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital before she retired. Cookie is preceded in death by her Ex-husband, Paul Wiedeman, her beloved son, Troy Wiedeman, whom she missed terribly, her parents, Allen & Lucy (Marchiafava) Kliebert Sr., numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Cookie is survived by her brother, Allen & Janet (Lorio) Kliebert, niece, Cherie Favaro & husband, Keith, nephews, Joseph & Erik Kliebert. She is also survived by her Uncle Buddy & Aunt Grace Kliebert along with many, many cousins & last but not least the numerous friends she loved like family.
Her family would like to thank the staff of The Parc Assisted Living for their love and wonderful care they gave her in her last year and 5 months of life.
Her family would also like to thank the hospice staff of Pinnacle Home Health for their loving kindness in her last few months.

Funeral arrangements are as follows: a visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at St. Agnes Catholic Church Parish Hall, 749 East Blvd., Baton Rouge, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow in the St. Agnes Church. Graveside services will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge. The family extends an invitation to a reception following the Graveside services at the Greenoaks Memorial Celebration of Life Center, adjacent to the funeral home.
