Linda Sue Lopez

Linda Sue Lopez, 67, a native of Curdsville, Ky., and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2010. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by her entire family. Linda loved life without exception. Despite a lengthy battle with sickness, she never let it compromise her will to live nor her love for her family. While cooking and family events were her favorite pastimes, she always made room for going out to eat and a quick shopping trip. Linda is survived by her daughter, Terrie Nicholson Bordelon and husband Gregory; sisters, Liz Fulkerson, Patty Loy and Emma Swift; brothers, James Payne and Leo Payne; and grandchildren, Cameron and Breanna Bordelon, Christopher and Ashley Bryan, and Brooklyn and Peyton Nicholson. Preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Lopez; daughter, Joann Nicholson Bryan; parents, Carlton and Mary Payne; sister, Shirley Payne; and brothers, Darrell, Larry, Gene and Carlton Payne. Visitation at St. Jude Catholic Church on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
