Linda was an amazing person and friend of mine over the past 13 years. She took the time to teach my how to draw blood many years ago and I will always remember what she taught me. She never had a sad face and no matter how busy she was she was always smiling and willing to help. I got to see her the week before I left for maternity leave and although she was in great pain she was so happy for me and my husband. We love you Linda and you will truly be missed!!

Linda was an awesome woman who will be missed! She always had a smile and could find veins on anyone!! She was my partner in the ER whenever I needed help. She always inquired about my girls and never complained about anything. Thankful to know her!

Linda was such an amazing person! She was always smiling and cheerful! She watched my children grow and would always come tell me a story about one of them when they were little. Always thoughtful and caring! All the patients and staff loved her including myself! She was wonderful at what she did and was always willing to teach others! You will be missed!!

Words alone cannot describe the type of person Linda was.  You had to know her to get the full effect!!  NEVER did a unkind word come out of her mouth.  She was truly an Angel and will always be our "Linda Lab"!  She may be gone from the ECU, but NEVER gone from our hearts.  I'll miss your never ending smile Linda!

Linda had been a friend for 30 years, but never really knew how special she was. She gave encouragement, compassion, and, most of all, love. She was the friend who called to check on you and offer endlessly and selflessly to help no matter what hour.  She will be painfully missed. Her beloved dog, zeke, sadly awaits her return never to be. There shall remain a deep void in my heart to no longer have linda with us.

When I think of Linda many things come to mind…..courageous, compassionate, hard working, a fighter, and a kind and loving heart.  Always ready to help anyone who needed a helping hand.  She was so grateful to those who helped her during her illness and constantly gave big hugs and thank yous to those around her.  She was so kind to patients and always took the extra time to sit and listen to them.  Linda did venipuncture on my son many times during his numerous hospital stays and he always looked forward to seeing her smiling face.  It was more than a job to her…it was her purpose and mission in life.  I will never forget her and will always try to emulate her kindness, compassion, and love of life.  I will always try to be as kind, patient, and compassionate to my patients as she was.  I will miss her forever.  God was awesome when he allowed me to know and learn from her.  Rest in peace and suffer no more my friend.

Linda always walked with a smile on her face and light in her eyes. What a joy it was for us to have time with her as a co-worker. We were all so blessed to know this beautiful person

Linda was a beautiful person. She was always kind, generous, and loving to everyone she came across. Seeing her face at work in the ER always brought a smile across my face. I hope she knows how many lives she touched. She will be missed by so many people. Heaven has gained an angel for sure.

Linda touched so many lives in our  Emergency Department, both patients' and staff. She never failed to have a smile on her face, oftentimes when she was sick and suffering.  She always gave to those around her. She loved life and fought for it fiercely and valiantly for a very long time. She will be so deeply missed by all of us who were blessed to know her. She, indeed, fought the good fight. Though she is gone from us now, may her spirit of life, love, and generosity continue to be an inspiration to all of us who had the privilege of knowing her.
