Linda "Laney" Humphrey St. Romain, a native of Baton Rogue resident of Maringouin (Ramah) passed away peacefully in her home on June 30th 2026 at the age of 82. Laney was a retired bookkeeper and a lover of the outdoors. She was a strong independent and talented woman. Preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Edward Joseph St. Romain and her parents Newton Thomas Humphrey and Mary Stewart Humphrey. Survived by daughters Janet Fletcher, Molly Brown (James), Amanda Bellard (Johnny),and Vickie David (Jamie). 5 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Sisters Carolyn H Smith and Mary "Sandy" Humphrey and niece Lisa Gonzales (Joe)and Troy Smith (Christy). Pallbearers will be Troy Smith, James Brown, Johnny Bellard, Jamie David, Coy David and Hunter St. Romain. Visitation will be held Monday July 6th, 2026, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home 825 Government St Baton Rouge 9am to 11am followed by prayer service and burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
