

Lori was born on January 14, 1963 to James LeSage and Sybil Lesage. She graduated from Central High School in 1981 and received her Business degree from Delta College. She then went to work for the Secretary of State until she retired in April of 2019. She was a Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She never met a stranger! No one who met Lori could forget her infectious laughter or her beautiful smile. She absolutely loved music and dancing. She also had a passion for traveling and camping with her best friend and husband Mel as well as her family. When she wasnt dancing or camping she was Shopping! She had many shopping "dates" with her Sister Liz and Mother Sybil and she loved a good bargain! She was the life of ALL parties and would always make the most of out of anything. To know Lori was to love her!
She is preceded in death by her Father James LeSage, Mother-in-law Peggy Gautreaux, Father-in-law Barry Gautreaux Sr. and niece, Casey LeSage.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Mel Gautreaux, Daughter Rachel Marcus and Jesse. Grandchildren Jayce Lawdermilt, Brock Pinson, and Jase, Ross and Jesse Marcus; her mother Sybil LeSage; siblings Liz Stephens and Larry, Randy LeSage and Lyn, Rodney LeSage and Anna; nephews and their families, Austin Stephens and Brittany and daughter Kennedy, BJ Stephens and Katie and children, Avery, Landry and Presley, Cameron Stephens, Nick LeSage and Jordan and sons Luke and Hayden and Brandon LeSage and Sara.
Pallbearers will be Jayce Lawdermilt, Austin Stephens, BJ Stephens, Cameron Stephens, Nick LeSage and Brandon LeSage.
The family asks if you would please wear purple if you have it. Lori's favorite color was purple and would love to fill the chapel with her favorite color!
A visitation for Lori will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Greenoaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815. An interment will occur Friday, February 14, 2025 at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815.
