Lorraine Jarnagin Kelly died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was born Dec. 12, 1919, in Springhill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Willie Jarnagin; husband, Dyche Kelly; and a sister and a brother. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Patsy Bass; granddaughter, Karen and Damon Martin; great-granddaughters, Sydney and Kaitlyn Martin; nieces, Rena Ruth Derouen and husband Ray, and Linda and husband Dr. L.C. Guilbeau; grandnephew, Lynn and wife Sheila Derouen; and brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Mary Jarnagin. She specified cremation. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, March 15, from 9 a.m. until memorial service at 10 a.m., conducted by her brother, Gordon Jarnagin, and Nick Kalivoda.
