Born on Sept. 1, 1925 in Lutcher, he passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, with his son Michael by his side at Michael’s home in Baton Rouge. He was 96, and a beloved husband, father, and friend to many. A WWII veteran (Pacific), he started his own tax and accounting firm from ground up and came to know many of his clients as friends. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Feb. 3 , from 9:30 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survivors include daughter, Susan Elizabeth; sons, Louis Michael and John Stephen; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl Cecile, son Kevin James and all of his siblings.
