
Mr. Louis A Richardson joined his wife of 68 years in their heavenly home on Friday, Aug. 17, 2007. He was a retired plumber from local 198 and a resident of Walker. He was 90, a native of Brittany and a U.S. Army veteran. Funeral service will be Sunday, Aug. 19, at 3 p.m. at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Meades and husband John and Carolyn Fickle and husband Lynn, all of Walker; "adopted" daughter, Ouida Z. Hamilton; six grandchildren, Jeff Meades and wife Donna, Walker, Todd Meades, Chattanooga, Tenn., Kyle Meades and wife Celta, Tucson, Ariz., Suzette Gauthier and husband Bobby, Jenson Beach, Fla., Chip Johnston and wife Tammy, White Oak, Ga., and Lynn Fickle Jr., Slidell; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josh A. and Ada Richardson; brothers, Willie D'Armond and Delton Richardson; and sisters, Sammie Robbins and Virgie Tanner. He was a member and deacon of the Revival Temple in Walker and very active in the church's prison ministry. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Alzheimer's Services, 3772 North Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806 or Life Source Hospice, 3049 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70816. The family would like to express a special thanks to Life Source Hospice for their care and compassion.
