Louise Smiley, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully at her residence on September 16, 2015. Ms. Smiley was born on April 21 1923 in Lincoln County, Mississippi. She was the former owner of Smiley’s Meat Market. She is survived by her grandchildren; Lisa Smiley Vincent and husband Brad, John Smiley II, Justin Smiley and Brian Kendrick, great grandchildren; Deanna DeArmond, Magan Smiley, Kayla Smiley and Ashlynne Smiley and three great-great grandchildren; brothers Laron and Carroll Johnston, daughter in law Leslie Raymond and her special friend, Michael Kerr. She is preceded in death by her husband, John D. Smiley, parents; Quillar and Carrie Johnston, son Frank Smiley a brother, Hulon Johnston and sisters; Mary Alice Smith and Lottie Parker. A special thanks to her caregivers Miss Renee and Miss Ann. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 12:00 pm until service time of 2:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
