Louise Wilkerson died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, at the age of 73. She was born Nov. 20, 1934, in Lexington, Tenn. As a child, her family moved to Coleman Town and she attended school in Greensburg. Louise raised her children in Baton Rouge and worked at the Louisiana Department of Hospitals during the 1960s until she moved to Houston. Several years later she returned and made her home in Watson. Louise was preceded in death by her father, Lester Tennyson; her mother, Leora Latham; sister, Betty Smith; brother, Leon Tennyson; husband, Jack W. Wilkerson; her first husband, Emerson Causey; and daughter, Catherine Chaney. She is survived by her sons, Charles "Chuck" and Jeff Causey; and her daughter, Kayren Beattie. Her two grandsons are Dylan and David Beattie; and she has two great-granddaughters, Mia and Summer Beattie. Louise was a wonderful seamstress. She enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. She loved animals and was particularly caring to God's wildlife creatures in need of help. Graveside service will be held at Greenoaks Memorial Park, on Monday, March 3, at 11 a.m.
