Lucille Jeansonne, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the age of 95. She was best known as "Mama J" and never met a stranger. She will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Irving Jeansonne and children, Teresa Jeansonne Lee and Edward Jeansonne, and grandchildren, Daniel Jeansonne, Lori Jeansonne, and Bryan Lee. She is survived by four children, Paul Jeansonne and his wife Lesa, Katherine Jeansonne, James Jeansonne, and Leo Jeansonne; nine grandchildren, Jamie, Jessica, Jean, Robert, Leia, Lucy, Charlotte, Amanda, and Wren; and great-grandchildren. Loved ones, friends and family, will gather to honor Lucille's life on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home & Crematory, 825 Government St., Baton Rouge, LA 70802.
