Lynne H Chatelain

LYNNE MYRLE HARDOUIN CHATELAIN, 87 of Baton Rouge, La was born on July 1, 1934 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Julien Alfred Hardouin, Jr. and Lola Mae Alford. She departed this earthly life on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Lynne enjoyed dancing, singing, traveling, playing cards, and bowling; and was a member of Baton Rouge Woods & Waters Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert Louis Chatelain; her parents; and her sister, Myrna Mae Hardouin (Pittman).

She is survived by four (4) children, Kenny Chatelain and wife Kitty C. Chatelain; Jeff Chatelain and wife Lisa A. Chatelain; Duane Chatelain and wife Tracie C. Chatelain; and Bridgette C. Knotts and husband, Mike Knotts; nine (9) grandchildren, Brandon Paul Chatelain; Theresa Eileen Chatelain Delafosse (Logan); Courtney Lynne Chatelain Ra (Hugh); Jordan Michael Chatelain; Krista Nicole Reed; Taylor Nicole Chatelain; Dylan Blake Chatelain; Eric Paul Thibodeaux; Danielle Alane Thibodeaux; and three (3) great-grandchildren, Julien Etienne Delafosse; Alex Anderson Ra; Wesley Benjamin Delafosse.

Honorary Pallbearers: Brandon Chatelain, Jordan Chatelain, Dylan Chatelain, Logan Delafosse, Hugh Ra, Peyton Glass, Eric Thibodeaux.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. with services immediately following at 4:30 p.m. Interment will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
