"Margaret Long passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, in Gonzales LA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Keith Long. Margaret was born in Springfield MA, and lived many years in Baton Rouge. She and Keith traveled extensively and lived in several different parts of the country, including Detroit, Allen Park and Grosse Isle MI, Sparta NJ, Tehachapi CA, Fort Myers FL and Lake Charles LA. Margaret was an artist and an avid miniaturist, decorating and furnishing the doll houses built by Keith. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Joanne Hable of Grafton MA; son Terrence Long and his wife Louise of Gonzales LA; son Craig Long and his wife Sue of Lake Charles LA; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for the care and comfort they provided. Visitation will be at 10 am, Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Baton Rouge.
