Margaret Cappo Macaluso

A resident of Denham Springs and native of Baton Rouge died at 9 am on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Baton Rouge General-Bluebonnet. She was 74 and a retiree of Montgomery Wards Department Store. Visitation at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2250 Main St., on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am celebrated by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. She is survived by beloved companion of 20 years, Byron J. Campagna; daughter, Linda M. Sikes; two sons, John G. Macaluso and David A. Macaluso and wife D'Anna; five grandchildren, Brandy Shaffett, Amanda Hines, Brosie Macaluso, Michael Macaluso and Carlee Macaluso; two great-grandchildren, Presley Shaffett and A.J. Shaffett. She was preceded in death by husband, Anthony B. Macaluso; and brother, Russell Cappo. Pallbearers will Brosie Macaluso, Michael Macaluso, Ben Shaffett, Eric Hines, Chris Campagna, Brad Campagna and Craig Schaap.
