Margie Nell Clayton

Clayton, Margie Nell Killingsworth, “I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13.” Margie was a resident of Greenwell Springs, LA, and passed away at home with her family around her on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the age of 78. She was survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert H. “Buddy” Clayton; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Robin Clayton; granddaughters Brynn Martinez and her husband Chase and Lacey Raye Clayton and great grandchild to be Baby Martinez; and sister Lou Stovall of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by a son, Brent Wade Clayton, parents Otis and Jacie Killingsworth of Altus, OK and a sister, Wanda Johnson of Little Rock, AR. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 9:00AM until time of services at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Carl Clayton, Bill Clayton, Chase Martinez, Dustin Henson, Brad Stovall and Lyndall Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jack Clayton, Randy Miley and Mike Scallan. The family would like to thank Dr. T’Lane M. Folse and Dr. Lisa Clayton for all the care and support over the past few weeks. A special thanks to Florida Blvd. Baptist Church where Margie was a member.
