
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith." II Timothy 4:7. Marguerite A. Donovan, "Aunt Margaret," passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011, at age 88. She was a resident of Baton Rouge after Hurricane Katrina and a native of New Orleans and Chalmette. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy Sr. and Sherry Donovan; three grandchildren, Sydney, T.J. and Shawn; two step-grandchildren, Kellie and Lance; great-grandchild, four great-step-grandchildren, and her special angels, Trisha, Gail, Brooke and Mary Ann. She is also survived by three nieces, Doris, Viola and Margaret; and her babies, Pepper and Angel. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Frank Donovan; parents, Henry and Ella Foeckler; brother, Roland Foeckler; brother-in-law, Sonny Donovan; and sister-in-law, Wilhelmine Foeckler. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, July 6, from 9 a.m. until service in the chapel at noon. Entombment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, Chalmette, on Thursday, July 7, at 11 a.m. Her passions included sewing and gardening. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge for their wonderful staff that helped them through such a difficult time.
