Marian L McCain

Lynn was born November 14, 1955, and passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Ann Holcomb, a sister Nancy Sonier, and a great grandson Gabriel Delaney. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Terry McCain, children, Rebecca (Tasha) Delaney, son Robert Delaney, stepsons Justin (Tracee) and Austin McCain, Sisters Beth (Kevin) Malone and Cathy (Jerry) Kleinpeter. Also, survived by her greatest joy, her grandchildren, Brandon, Anna, Madison, and Davie Jean Delaney; and Maddok, Lorcan, Breken, Ava, and Noah McCain. Three great grandchildren Brilynn, Hayes & Weston Delaney and numerous nieces and a nephew.

Lynn loved to be with family, especially the children. She cared for her husband tirelessly for over 13 years who had a debilitating condition, all the while working at Channel Realty and being the best wife, mother, sister and grandmother, a family could ask for. She loved to travel with Terry reaching mountains across the Country. She thrived on family gatherings where the children enjoyed many special occasions with their NaNa and no one left her home able to eat another bite.

Lynn helped all people in need she met, a kinder soul you will never know. She will be missed by so many.

Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Monday, August 4, 2025, starting at 3 pm with a service to follow at 7 pm.
