She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who loved her family deeply and found great joy in caring for those around her. Sis loved music, cooking, and bringing people together. Her home was always welcoming, filled with family, friends, and the smell of something good cooking. She was known for her homemade barbecue chicken and her famous lemon icebox pie, which were favorites of everyone who visited. Friends and family often gathered at her house for pots of coffee, pies, cakes, music and good conversation. Sis especially loved hosting Christmas parties where family and friends filled her home with laughter, food, and music from her jukebox.
