Ms. Marianne Talley Griffin, a native of Baton Rouge, passed away May 4, 2025, at the age of 95 years old. She was born on February 12, 1930, in Breaux Bridge, LA., with her parents, Euclide and Alcadid Talley. Ms. Marianne was a long-time resident of Baton Rouge until she moved to Vicksburg, MS. In 2013, to live with her daughter. She will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother and dedicated homemaker to her children.
Ms. Marianne is survived by, son, John Griffin (Ann), of Denham Springs, LA., daughter, Aline Griffin of Vicksburg, MS., Daughter-in-law, Blinda Griffin of Oviedo, FL., two grandsons, three great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Griffin Sr. of Baton Rouge and son Robert G. Griffin Jr. of Geneva, FL.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA., on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 12:00pm until service time of 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.franiscanmissions.org.
