Marie Langlois Davis

A resident of Jarreau and a native of Baton Rouge, she passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Saturday, March 31, 2007. She was 84. Visitation will be Sunday, April 1, 2007, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 5 p.m.to 9 p.m.Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m.and will continue until religious service at 1 p.m.in the chapel. Interment will follow atRoselawnMemorial Park. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Wolfe and her husband, Randy Wolfe, of Lake Charles; son, Ken Davis Jr. and his wife, Marsha Davis, of Prairieville; brother, Leo Langlois of Baker; grandchildren, Jennifer and Brian Law, Ken Davis III, Brock and Megan Davis; and two great-grandchildren, Hopelyn Davis and Abigail Vanicor. She was preceded in death by her husband, K.W. Davis Sr.; parents, Albert and Caroline Langlois; and brothers, Shafter, Henry, Julian, Allen and E.J. Langlois. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Davis, Brock Davis, Freddie Dawson, Thomas Langlois, Toby Langlois, and Ronnie Langlois. Special thanks to Ken and Kay Hayward for all their kindness and special care. Mrs. Davis was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lakeland. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Seminary in St. Benedict.
