Marie Louise Burns Simoneaux

She was raised in Donaldsonville, LA and was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Marie was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, card games, and making many different crafts. She is survived by her daughters, Shelly Woods (Barry), Beverly Clymer (Terry), Peggy Amato (Wayne) and Barbara Leblanc; grandchildren, Brandi Bowen, Holle Cloutier, Jimmy Woods, Dustin Clymer, Dean Amato, Terri Anne Clymer and Triston Leblanc; great-grandchildren, Connor and Summer Bowen, Allegra Tombolini, Lily Brennan, Emma and Halle Amato. Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Edwidge “EJ” Simoneaux; her only son, John Simoneaux; parents, Zeolide and Shelby Burns; as well as her 11 siblings. Marie will be laid to rest at Greenoaks Memorial Park after a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Ligouri Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Triston Leblanc, Dean Amato, Connor Bowen, Jimmy Woods and Ron Bowen. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Clymer, Wayne Amato and Barry Woods. The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to St. Clare Manor and the Hospice of Baton Rouge for care of their mother and grandmother.
