Marie Cappo Robertson was called by Our Lord to claim her Heavenly home Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at 1:30 p.m. A retired merchandiser for Montgomery Ward, she was 74, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Springville. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 56 years, S.J. "Jim" Robertson Sr.; son, S.J. "Jimbo" Robertson Jr. and his wife, Michelle Bergeron Robertson, of Central; a daughter, Sandra R. Ramirez and her husband, Gerard L. "Ram" Ramirez, of St. Amant; grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle and Bradley Alford and Chad and Chelsea Robertson; and great-grandson, Cameron Christopher Alford. Survivors also include her sister, Margaret Dixon, and brother, Nick J. Cappo, both of Prairieville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Cappo; brothers, Russell, Harry and Dominic "D.D." Cappo; sister, Evelyn C. Moran; granddaughter, Danielle Rene Robertson; and sister-in-law, Myrtle Robertson. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Chad Robertson, Matthew, Kyle and Bradley Alford, and nephews, Doug Robertson and Craig Cappo. Visiting will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, April 27, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. Visiting continues at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, April 28, from 10 a.m. until Mass at 11 a.m. officiated by the Rev.
