Marie Hicks Taylor

Marie Hicks Taylor, a native of Baton Rouge and a longtime resident of Central. She passed away unexpectedly on September 19, 2022 at the age of 75. She was born on December 19, 1946. She enjoyed listening to live bands at the VFW with family and friends and taking care of Bella and Cherie, her fur babies. She was preceded in death by her parents Ulyses Phillip and Mary Gore Hicks, her brother Tommy Akins. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Billy Ray Taylor, brother Pat Eppinett, son Michael Ray Taylor Sr. and daughter-in-law Sandra Taylor, daughter Theresa Taylor Wilson and son-in-law Karl W. Wilson Jr., grandson Michael Taylor Jr. and granddaughter-in-law Renee Taylor, grandson Cameron Taylor, grandson Taylor Wilson, grandson Tyler Wilson and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Pallbearers will be Michael Taylor Sr., Bobby Taylor, Michael Taylor Jr., Taylor Wilson, Tyler Wilson, and Cameron Taylor. The visitation will be at Rabenhorst East Funeral Home on Saturday September 24th from 9am until the funeral service at 11am followed by the burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.
