Mark Wayne Johnson

Mark Wayne Johnson was born in Baton Rouge, LA, on December 5, 1977, and passed into eternal rest on January 19, 2021, after a lengthy illness, with his mother near his side. Mark is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alton Joseph and Isabel Trichel; paternal grandparents, Jessie Jackson and Pearlie Anne Johnson; and older sister, Amy Carol Johnson. He is also preceded in death by his aunt Lela Bernice Hay and uncle Curt, uncle JR Johnson and aunt Siller, uncle Jim Johnson and aunt Margie, aunt Georgia Mae Raburn, uncle Jessie Tillman Johnson and aunt Carol, aunt Elsie Juanetta Fayette Mcburney and uncle Mac, uncle Lawrence Johnson, aunt Mary Johnson, uncle Herman Trichel, and uncle Alton Trichel, Jr.. He is survived by his parents, Roy Lester and Bessie Louise Johnson; older brother, Christopher Eric Johnson; 3 sisters, Stephanie Louise Campbell (David), Kathy Janene Frederick (Larry Michael), and Lori Anne Crowley (Robert Michael); nephews, Myles Scott Legg (Christine) and Zachary Ryan Legg; uncle, Harvey Shelton Johnson; aunts: Liz Johnson and Jerry Trichel and numerous cousins. A memorial visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East on Saturday, January 30, at 1 pm, with a service to follow at 3pm.
