Mark Stephen Lastrapes, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on October 24, 2026. Mark was a retired life insurance producer, and he also worked as a Piccadilly Cafeteria manager.

Mark is survived by his wife, Wanda Lastrapes; daughter, Tomeka Jackson; granddaughters, Brionna Alexander, Taliyah Jackson, and Dalon Galatas; grandson, Michael Abbott; four great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Sherman and Marion Lastrapes.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1120 Myrtle St., officiated by Reverend Henry Ihouma, SSJ.

Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., is in charge of funeral arrangements.
