A retired F.G. Sullivan Contractor foreman and a native of Ferriday, he died at 4:03 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at his home in Baton Rouge. He was 81 and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel on Thursday, July 5, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Ron Turner. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Dagmar G. Fedric; daughter and son-in-law, Annette Marie and Robert Stanhope; three sons, Raymond Max Fedric, Michael Wayne Fedric and Marshall Ray Fedric Jr. and wife Jo Beth; brother and sister-in-law, John L. and Velton Fedric; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Clara E. Fedric; sister, Frances Garvin; and two brothers, Dan Fedric and Felix Fedric. His passion was gardening.
