Martha McGehee Stewart, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at her home in Jackson on Thursday, April 1, 2010. She was 72 and a native of Liberty, Miss. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, April 5, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes Tuesday, April 6, from 9 a.m. until religious services in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. James Alexander. Internment will follow in Plains Presbyterian Memorial Garden. She is survived by her husband, John O. Stewart; a daughter, Kellie Stewart Hodges; three sons, Michael Wayne, Steven O'Neil and John David Stewart; a sister, Janet McGehee Dozier; a brother, John Clinton McGehee; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James M. and Irene C. McGehee; and two sisters, Betty M. Williams and Sandra M. Turner. Pallbearers will be William Stewart, Johnny McGehee, Kyle McGehee, Mark Williams, Jim Turner, Johnny Hodges, John Hodges and Cody McGehee.
