A longtime resident of Baker, she passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 1pm until religious services at 2pm. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.Mary Alice was born March 27, 1935, to Luke and Adele Percle. She retired in 1988 from the E. Baton Rouge Parish School System.Survived by her three children, Dane Hatchell and wife Lisa, Danette Hatchell Hodges and husband Chris, Diahn Hatchell Hagan Hall and her husband Tommy; grandchildren, Lauren Hatchell, Krissi Hodges Davis, Kristal Hodges, Christopher Hodges, Casey Hagan, and Kyle Hagan; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Elmo Percle and Malcolm Percle.Proceeded in death by her parents, brother Frederick Percle, sisters Eula Lee Devall and Bertile Spillman; husbands Dalton Hatchell and Donald Barthel. The family gives special thanks to all the wonderful caregivers at Flannery Oaks Guest House for their hard work and dedication to Mary Alice.
