
A retired licensed practical nurse, homemaker and seamstress, she died Tuesday morning, May 1, 2007, at her Denham Springs residence. She was 68 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 5 p.m.to 8 p.m.Wednesday, May 2. Visiting at St. Agnes Catholic Church from 9 a.m.Thursday until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Rubin Reynolds. Interment inGreenoaksMemorial Park. She is survived by her husband, Cyril "Tubby" Altazin Jr.; three children, Daniel Toural Sr., Raegan Conrad and Lenest "L.J." Toural III and wife Jill, all of Denham Springs; grandchildren, Daniel Toural Jr., Denham Springs, London Harrison, Christopher, Evan and Nathan Tullos, all of Baton Rouge, Casey Schibler and Parker and Peyton Toural, all of Denham Springs; and brother, Theodore "Ted" Helmers and wife Wanda of Central. Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Nicholas and Lylah Smith Helmers; and daughter, Nienah Tullos. Her sons, grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement. Her family wishes to extend special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice.
