

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Mary Ann Witty, age 69, a resident of Central, LA passed away on Thursday November 10, 2022 at her home. She was a 1971 graduate of Redemptorist High School. Then she completed Steno School in Lake Charles, LA. Mary Ann retired as Office Manager in 2005 from The Office of Registrar of Voters with 30 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Journey Church in Central. Mary Ann is survived by her loyal and loving husband, Frank Allen Witty of 43 years, only daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Capone, wonderful son-in-law, Christopher Thomas Capone, one beautiful granddaughter, Miranda Paige Capone, one amazing grandson Malachi Xavier Capone, two sisters, Mary Katherine Jacobs and Rose Mary Stafford, and numerous nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by her parents, Joseph Ignatius and Frances Nacol Stoch, and only brother, Joseph Gerard Stoch. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. on Wednesday November 16, 2022 from 5-8 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday November 17, 2022 from 10-11 am until services at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Christopher Capone, John Jacobs, Mark Jacobs, Sam Fulco, Daryl Reno, and Todd Capone. Honorary pallbearers will be Vikki Nacol, Brian Capone, Kirby Denson, and Mike Kelly. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge, 550 Lobdell Ave. Baton Rouge, LA 70806. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge for their care.
