"Mary McLin Blanchard, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the age of 88. She is survived by her daughter Andrea Denise Hicks (Russell Hicks); son Patrick Guy Blanchard (Kris Cangelosi); grandchildren Stacey Johnston (Todd Johnston), Kayla Blanchard, Amanda Holliday (Austin Holliday); great-grandchildren Jordan Johnston (Reanne Johnston), Hunter Johnston, Sydney Johnston, and Carmen Holliday. Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Patrick J. Blanchard, parents Fred and Mary Chidester, sisters Freda Stewart and Jean Michelli. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 14040 Greenwell Springs Rd., Greenwell Springs, LA on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 12 PM until 1:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30PM. Interment to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
