
"A native of Grenada, MS and resident of Baton Rouge, Mary Davis Crum died in Baton Rouge at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2017 at the age of 74. She was a retired LPN at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital with 17 years of service. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 from 5 pm until 7 pm. Religious services will be held at Baton Rouge First Church of the Nazarene, 9955 Old Hammond Hwy, on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at noon conducted by Pastor William Bonee. Burial will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery. She is survived by her children; Mike Crum and wife Cathy, Carolyn Clements and husband Rev. Kevin Clements, and Rev. James Crum and wife Tara; six grandchildren, Caitlyn and Jordan Crum, Brandon and Ryan Clements and Ashleigh and Hannah Crum; brother, Willie Irvin Davis and wife Katherine; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Roy D. Crum; parents, Rev. Russell Lewis Davis, Sr. and Emma White Davis.; and infant brother, Sammy Wayne Davis and brother, Russell Lewis Davis, Jr. Mary was a member of Baton Rouge First Church of the Nazarene, a graduate of Gloster High School and Baton Rouge Vocational Technical Institute. In lieu of flowers, her family requests memorial donations to the Baton Rouge First Church of the Nazarene or American Cancer Society.
